"The straw hat of Florence" arrives at the Teatro di Cestello

Al Teatro di Cestello va in scena oggi mercoledì 26 and tomorrow, Thursday, 27 November, at 20.45, "The straw hat of Florence", drawn from the work of Eugène Labiche, directed by Sandro Querci, who is also the protagonist excelled.

Went on stage for the first time in 1851, produced by Walters, the show includes songs of the late maestro Riz Ortolani, and soon this new version in style Querci will land in France and Canada.

AND’ the story of the frantic search by the future bridegroom, Francis Lam, starring Sandro Querci, a straw hat manufactured in Florence.

For nearly one hundred years the staging has always been in the version of prose or operetta arias French era. For the stage Sandro Querci has dropped the names of the best musical theater, not only international but also national: Francesca Taverni (Cats per la Stage in Germania, winner of the IMTA Best Female Performer in Italy with Rent, A Chorus line, Mamma mia.); Mario Zinno (Neapolitan singer-actor starring in shows like Masaniello's musical Tato Russo, Viviani varieties alongside Massimo Ranieri, The Prince of Youth, directed by Giuliano Peparini); Camillo Grassi (protagonist at the award-winning film Singing Behind Screens by Ermanno Olmi, Roberto Benigni's Pinocchio, in theater The Bourgeois Gentleman); Stefania Andreu (protagonist in Fame and winner of the Award for Best Performer Italian, in love Hello hello winner for Best Actress, Prince Youth Riz Ortolani); Fabrizio Checcacci (Pinocchio the great Musical Pooh, Zorro the Musical, the latest version of the original Jesus Christ Supersar); Piero di Blasio (performer and director, Hello hello love, Shrek, High Society, Hair spray, Cinderella, I love you you're perfect now change); Serena Carradori (for five years protagonist in the role of Sandy in Grease, Mamma mia in Italy for the Stage); Claudia Snipers (long stay in London, after which he returned to Italy and is Snow White in Snow White's musical, protagonista in Ladies, Still waters and it's the musical, in the role of Ida).

For those few who do not know Sandro Querci say it is an actor, singer, author, Director, to his credit 32 shows of prose, 12 musical, 6 film, 9 Theatre Royal, 2 film direction, component of a historic family of artists, before him Dad, and at the same time his sister Silvia Querci (many musicals, note solo singer, nurse in the two acclaimed musical about Romeo and Juliet, both in the version Cocciante that in that Zard).
