"Sex and Lies" by Woody Allen at the Teatro di Cestello

The hilarious "Sex and Lies" by Woody Allen, directed by Massimo Ali, from 4 al 7 December will be staged at the Theatre of basket.

In this comedy Woody Allen, with the usual irony, speaks of infidelity and love, betrayal and forgiveness.

The elements that make up this fact are countless brilliant comedy, how many are the events that create the puzzle of this story.

Two girlfriends, a brilliant psychologist and a historian fight over the alleged infidelity of her husband's therapist. A failed writer is struggling with his own depression, with the illness of his father and with the vagaries of his wife. A young lawyer asphyxiated by the dominant personality of his wife in his career trying to let off steam in frivolous extramarital affairs.

And yet: how to get rid of a mistress too cumbersome? How to avoid a massacre when the discovery of a betrayal threatens to destroy two families? And how to prevent, without bloodshed, the escape of a husband with a young and shapely surface?

The Company Theatre in Crank, through an extraordinary group of actors led by director Massimo Ali, interprets a text already become a classic for the enjoyment of audiences around the world.
